I forgot about this one, i found this old, yet brand new Belding & Mull see through powder measure at a Garage sale, I think i paid 10 bucks for it? It has a crack in the little window, they made it easy replaceable/remove to clean. The bottom picture is not mine, but shows a better picture of what mine looks like. Same box, etc.

There is good news for owners. MVA is reproducing these measures. All of the parts are available at reasonable cost. I have one, and it is .1gr adjustment.

Do you know if all the parts interchange???
The glass on one of mines is cracked.

One of mine was cracked thru and leaking I used lexan of the right thickness and cut out my own. A small piece of glass could be cut also if it can be found. Though Ive never had my luck cutting glass. I believe the Belding and Mulls visible is still being made so parts may be available there also.

Does anybody know if the MVA micrometer adjust scale will work with a Belding and Mull?

If i replace my glass window it will be with a piece of Plexi, if you mess up and over tighten one of the little flathead screws that hold the glass window in you will likely crack your brand new glass.

Measure Tubes can be made from hobby store brass tubing and off the shelf hardware store parts. I have made a bunch of them for my measures. Bill of materials is as follows. 1 ea 1/2" of X.015 wall brass tubing 4" long, 1 ea 15/32 X .015 brass tubing 3/4" long and 1ea 1/2" long of this same tubing. 1 ea 7/16 x14 or 20 ( depending on how fine of adjustment you want) 5" long. 1 ea 7/16 matching nut. 1 ea 1/2" stop collar. 1 ea 3/8" long 1/4 20 set screw, JB epoxy. cut tubes to size and deburr fit to a sliding fit the 3/4" long 15/32 tube is glued to the end of the ready rod forming the top end of the rod. If a concave end is wanted leave a little long and fill with epoxy and use a 1/2" ball to form it. The 1/2" long 15/32 tube gets glued into the 1/2" brass tube. the 1/2" stop collar is glued on this same end of the tube. A flat can be cut on the ready rod for the set screw to ride on. The nut acts as the adjustor. You need to transfer the set screw hole thru the brass tubes and tap 1/4 20 thru. I have made them both flat ended and concave ended and see little difference in them.

I wish I had a foot pedal to push that lever, or another arm.

Somehow the hopper on mine broke. Any idea where to get or make a replacement. A guy used to have brass hoppers but I haven't seen him at the gun shows for years.

Have had one for many many years, still works and the glass has never broken. My father had the powder measure when I was 10 years old. We reloaded a lot of bullets my father and I.
I got the measure after he passed. I am 72 so the powder measure has been around for over 60 years and still works.

Give them a call. They should have spare parts.

They had parts as of December in 2016 but they don't seem to list them any longer. I ordered 4 glasses and 2 Micrometer tubes right before Christmas 2016 .

Check at online metals .com they sell short lengths of various metals. Ive been buy brass tubing there. Measure the tube or where it insert or the inside lop of the cap and look for that of and the id you want. They sell in 10-12" lengths or by the foot.
