Went to a gunshow today to get some 40S&W Dies and saw every powder under the sun. Bullseye was $145/8lbs, Trailboss $110/5lbs. All powder like that. I'm glad powder is finally back to reasonable levels. Primers were all under $30/1k OTD too.

One other thing I saw. A S&W 14 nickle plated mint in the box with the tools and wrap. $650..I looked at that on several passes.

I also had a good day at a show, found 4 old square tins of Reloader 7, for $10 each and several other old cans @ $10, all full and unopened. Appeared to be a middle aged son selling off his elderly fathers components. By observing the age of many of the people attending these shows, I think we will soon see tons of hoarded stuff for sale in the near future.

I'm hoping my children let me keep my stuff for the next 30 yrs!

But what about .22 LR ? Eh? When that is $5 per hundred or under I'll figure "normal" has broken out again. I too have started seeing some less common powders and more 8# jugs of popular powders.

I'm seeing 22lr for $40 a box of 500. Still too expensive for me but cheaper than the $75-$100 I was seeing. Of course, I saw those several shows and no-one bought them. I hope the guys that bought them like that and jacked up the price got taken to the cleaners

That's the price I'm seeing in the stores by. I refuse to pay that much for bulk fodder that will have many duds in the pack. I got a good laugh when at a Bass Pro on Monday. Flight was delayed so I had nothing better to do. Powder was $33-$40 a pound. Very little selection. And no one was in the store. If they start running like Cabela's like their stores it doesn't bode well for either brand.

Bass Pro has always been very high on their powder with little selection. Very few guns and stuff mostly fishing gear which is what I would expect I guess.
