For your inspection Is my small collection Of Acme shot shell presses. These date Era 1950,s. Acme has Been Credited with The Interchangeable Powder and shot Metering Bars , I believe he was the First to use an adjustable Shot and Powder Bar. As the story Goes. The owner Of MEC was working for Acme on Designs. . They then parted ways. Acme Held On Until The 1960's But was purchased By MEC
The model Pictured are Model200 and Model 200D. At the time The Bushing was not yet used. Round Bar's were Purchase with desired Charge.
At the Time They advertised appox 100 per hour.
these were Used mostly for Paper Shells

That red one on the left was the press my dad had when I got old enough to help him load. I had forgotten all about it, but recognized it right away in the picture. Yes that was still the paper shell and paper or cork wad era.
