I just finished casting about 1500 Lyman 225415 boolits with some of the Taracorp bullet alloy I found 10 years ago. I have to say that it sure pours well into itty bitty cavities, and that the as cast diameter is right where it should be. My .225 sizer die just squares up the grooves and leaves room for the lube. All in all a very favorable alloy to make small boolits with. There isn't very much "slam" with a tiny boolit to get the air out and the alloy in so I hand poured them. Slow but once the mould was hot the rejection rate was 1 or 2 % at best. Nice stuff to work with if you have it. CB.

taracorp is usually 2%sn and 6% sb
and is what most commercial casters use.
