Dents in brass from freebore.

6.5X55 with freebore. Gas comes back to dent brass. Two out of about 80 shots. Slow powders. 190344

I found bullets were seated short so they must have been old 4831 loads. I seated deeper before shooting. I had an SEE event with short seated so switched to Varget and seating to specs. I need to pull a bullet to see the powder.
I agree, not enough initial pressure to seal the case. 4831 is too slow unless a heavy bullet seated right.
