I was going through some containers and I found a bunch of WW 45/70 Brass. I don't know if it has been sized in forever. I measured a few and they are between 1.92 and 2.00 inches I am going to resize them and see what happens.
My question is , what to do with the brass less than 1.950"?

Shoot them as normal unless you are crimping. If you crimp you will want to sort and adjust your crimp per the length.

cut them all to the short length.
straight walled cases don't really grow.

If you have a bunch of short ones put them in a separate box until you have enough to make die adjustments worthwhile the load and shoot them as normal

Use them as is for single shot rifle. Trim to shortest for crimping/ tube mags.

Don't do anything, they are fine. Re-sizing will stretch them a bit.

Send them to me so I can use them in my no-throat Win 1886! :-)

Yes. Mine averaged about 2.03 (I think). I reloaded them once, and had to modify my procedure to get the die to crimp them. Gave up on them and bought Starline.

Trim them down to 1.890 and get yourself a Model '76 Winchester in 45-60.

sounds like seedlings that will grow into 480 Ruger shot shells...
