I acquired a notebook full of drawings with measurements for making boxes to hold 50 to 100 bullets. My
Dad had put them down to paper and I got them when he passed away. I thought some of you might be
interested so I scanned them and put them in one big pdf. Here is one of the boxes just to show you what they look like.

They were made from light cardboard taken from cereal boxes and cut out individually and glued together.
There is an index to show bullets he made them for. I put the index at the back of the pdf to keep the index
matching the pages in the pdf. A lot of these will work for bullets that are similar to the ones they were
designed for. Most of them are drawn with dotted and solid lines but not all of them. The dotted lines are
the lines you cut and the solid lines are the folds. Some of them are even marked cut and fold so if you
aren't sure just what to do go through and look at a few of the others and it should explain how to go about
it. Most of them hold a layer of 25 bullets, a divider, and another layer of 25 bullets with a lid that slides
over the bottom.

If you are interested I have them posted below

That is very kind of you to share. It also gives a template for any size box needed which is what I was looking for also.

Very interesting how a different generation did things.Or how they thought of different things.I was brought up kinda that way Mom and Dad were both the youngest and so am I 38 years differance.i have always thought it had a lot to do with them remembering the great depression and the years that came after. They didnt waste a thing saved everything that might be usefull.Looked at there time spent doing something differently.

Thanks for shareing something from a time when things were a little more laid back.

More proof that reloaders were recycling/upcycling before the stupid hipsters were even born.

Thanks for sharing.

...and thanks for adding to my already insurmountable reloading room workload!

Interesting. Looks like your dad, Leo was real perfectionist. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for posting this.
I bought my first box of boolits in these type boxes and still store small lots in them.
My old boxes are getting worn....I can now make new ones !
Making new ones from cereal boxes is great idea. I'm downloading ...Awesome Info.

I downloaded too, great idea and well done drawings. Some folks put more work ethic into their shop sketches than others do in how they do the whole job. I don't eat cereal often at all but cracker might work and I'm thinking of checking if the Chinese food emporium can let me have a box or two to see if they will work.

Glad they are being put to good use. Sorry about your bench NoAngel. Dad was a perfectionist. He had a medical file cabinet with the long narrow drawers and drilled out wood to hold all his shell holders and bullet pulling collet each one was labeled and in it's place. Not like my bench. I can search for days trying to find something I just put down.
