what this stuff? and if i got some pure lead ingots, how much should i add to it to make them a lil harder. dont need rifle hard, but hard enough my 1911 wont lead after 500 shots. never heard of the nickel stuff, the black was wiping solder i think its 60/40 if i remember right. the small stick and the round disk are pure tin.

Don't know about the Nicklite, but the block tin is the cat's meow. Use it w/WW's, and you don't need much. >I< would use no more than 3% tin, so for 20 lbs WW ingots (320 oz) you could add 6-8 oz of block tin and have a fine alloy that would nicely fill the mold. There is enough tin there to keep you in alloy for a while...

And Google showed this:

Nickelite Babbit Metal, 6-7 lb. Ingot (Specialized Use)

89% TIN, 7.5% ANTIMONY, 3.5% CU, AND ALUMINUM

Don't know if the Al will give a problem. Probably not, at the low concentration shown, but others on this site know more than I...
