I finally got my mould back. This is the third try and they finally got it. Now I'm developing loads for my .308 Winchester. So far all have been cast from Lynotype. With a gas check they weigh in at arounf 195gr. I'm using 50/50 beeswax alox. The two loads I got loaded up for testing are 38.5gr IMR 3031 and 38.5gr IMR 4064 using CCI #34 primers.

Yeah, these are are warm for a PB boolit but I tried the 180gr version in my M1 Garand. Not the most accurate but reliable and no signs of leading. So...has anyone else have this mould and tried other loads with accurate success?:Fire:

Wow! 38.5 3031 and 38.5 gr 4064 with a PB cast bullet!

Not putting you down just find that amazing. With 38 gr of H4895 under a 177 gr cast 311291 w/GC out of a .308 Win with a 24" barrel with 10" twist. Velocity was 2515 fps, pressure was 51,900 psi (M43) and accuracy was 7 moa at 100 yards.

Please let us know how your loads shoot.

I'm not expecting much. My goal is to get the bullet doing around 2200-2400f/s Using Lynotype should keep leading down. My next load will be using Green Dot.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress, are you still using the Weatherby?

Not trying to flame on you, but sizing the bullet to the bore properly will keep leading down more than any alloy or bullet hardness. I assume you're slugged the bore and are sizing at least .001" over bore size? That's the more important factor.
