I just wanted to let everyone know about a random act of kindness.
I put a wanted to buy post in the swapping and selling section. I was after a flint and steel firestarter kit like the one I had as a kid. Webfoot10 answered my post and offered a handmade steel\iron in the pioneer style. He attended the rendezvous circuit when it was popular in the eighties. He sold these kit there and had some leftovers.
Long story short--he sent me a handmade kit free of charge and wanted nothing in return. Of course I am going to send him a token of appreciation, but he truly wants nothing in return.
I just wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciate his random act of kindness. Things like this don't happen very much this day and age. My hat is off!
