When I go to the range I save all of my brass. Most gets reloaded. I also scrounge brass at the range looking for things that I can use. When I reload I inspect all brass for splits and other defects, and all those go in the scrap bucket as well as all the berdan primed stuff and the range pickups that are of no use to me. Well the scrap bucket was full to the top. I went to the scrap yard on Thursday and walked away with almost $65.00! They are paying .85 per pound for the scrap brass...Ray

Hey Ray,
Where's the scrap yard? It would be worth the drive if a few of us up noth here got together for a run down thataway.

Two months ago, I got 40 cents a pound for cartridge brass here in PA. Yellow brass was 60 cent a pound, but they pay less for old cases. Some places won't even take old cases here.

That's not much more than an hour's drive. Could stop on the way to Kittery.
