Anyone have experience with this bullet in .45 Colt?

I'm looking at using as a hunting/target bullet in a Ruger Blackhawk. Powder coated and 850-1200fps.

And perhaps in a Rossi M-92. Should it feed well in a lever-action?

the 45-250F says it has nose length for lever actions you might compare drawings, and do some math to find out the loaded length or the easy way just ask Tom. he is very good about answering questions, I am sure he would rather answer you question than have an up set customer. he is on this forum but I don't remember his user name.

45-250F is a great choice for a short-nosed .45 Colt bullet to feed in Marlin rifles which cannot handle an overall cartridge length longer than 1.60"

I use the 45-262H and 45-290H in my longer-cylindered Ruger revolvers and in my H&R Cowboy Classic .45 Colt, but these longer-nosed bullets WILL NOT feed in the 1894 Marlin unless loaded in Schofield brass so that overall cartridge length does not exceed factory rounds.

Most short action levers balk at Cartridge OAL greater than 1.61". For the 45 Colt this means a .325" maximum nose length.

There are folks who are making action modifications to accept longer, and isn't it Rossi who now offers the 92 in 454 Casull? That's 1.765" SAAMI spec COAL.

So, there are some exceptions, but every 92 I have owned is 1.61" maximum. And with the steep angle of the follower, you can't go too big with the meplat or the nose will hit barrel steel above the chamber and jamb.

Should the 45-260M feed well in a 92? or is the meplat too large?

It might be OK, but some 92s are a lot pickier than others.
You can test by filing the nose of a boolit down to the same diameter and loading it to the same OAL.
If the meplat clears on entry then you're good.
