You must not have any wind down there. All morning long I've been casting, then the wind comes, and the melting pots just struggle to keep the temp. Gives a person a real good idea just how temperature can and will effect the outcome of the boolits.

I just came in, I'm casting out back on the patio, finally said enough is enough.

I've tried to smelt in the wind in the past, nature wins that little contest of just who's in charge..

Up in the mountains it's windy most of the time, always some sort of breeze. Well.....except at night during the hot season, with the windows open, trying to cool down.
