I've had a great experience here on the forum. Multiple dealings with folks online and some with forum members in person.

Thumbcocker encouraged me to join and start posting, I was just trolling the forum before I met him.

I met Lefty Red and Alvarez Kelly while doing some trading, both are great gentlemen.

Who have you met?

I've met Bardo, he lives about 20 minutes from me.

We've had MtGianni and his wife in for dinner, grilled up some elk t-bones.

We've also had Thumbcocker, and Mrs Thumbcocker out to shoot in the desert, he wanted to see how far he could stretch shooting his 44. I had my 41, and we worked out to hitting a 12" rock pretty regular at 330 yards.

It's been some good times, and I look forward to some more!

I met Mitch long before we reconnected on the site. We went to trade school together in machine trades graduated and lost touch. Got back together on the site a year or so ago.

I did get the chance to meet Mtnfolk 75 and his bride and Thinman and his bride while they were up here on vacation, super salt of the earth people.

I met mktacop. He helped me get starting in casting and gave me my first melting pot.

I don't think there are many casters in my area.

All nice folks. I've dealt with several here online, and never had any sort of problems.

Other than Arisaka99, whom I introduced to the site, I've had the distinct pleasure to meet DougGuy and watch him work on my pistolas.

Funny I had noticed a guy called "Red River" posting here so we had swapped some PM's back and forth. He sounded pretty busy. Then I saw him post some wheel weight ingots for sale at a reasonable price.

Two nights later he delivered 110 lbs of good clean clip on wheel weights in nice muffin ingots to my door and was sitting in my living room.

Nice guy!

I have met one other guy local to me, he invited me up to his house, laid out the red carpet. Showed me all his guns and he had some dandy's.

Solid people.

I've met several. Some just to do a FTF deal, and some at the local gunshow (where I have a table), and a couple of them will meet up for a cup of coffee on a rare occasion. But, just last Friday, a local CB member and his brother met in Glencoe (from two different, distant parts of MN), parked one of their vehicles in my driveway, then they shared a ride to Morton (another hour away) for the first annual gunshow at the casino there.

As Starmac mentioned, SWMBO & I met him and his Lovely Bride during our visit to Fairbanks last February. Thanx again for dinner, Starmac ;o) BTW, Daughter #2 is back in Coldfoot again this winter, she and Hubby are planning on staying in Alaska year round, moving between DNP & Coldfoot. I'm sure we will be back up there ;o)

Everyone who has come to NCBS in the last five years. As one of our member said about NCBS - "It is like a family reunion where everyone likes everyone else." Looking forward to this year's NCBS in June again.

I've have arrangements to meet another member Tuesday between 2 Dr. apt. It'll be refreshing respite in between consternation and anguish, even though one Dr. is a shooter.
In the past, I've met 4 other members, usually for lunch and a gab session.

I met a gentleman from Canada that was out on a business trip to Cartersville GA. Picked him up, had a nice dinner and walked around our new Cabelas. Super nice guy. Been probably 2 years ago I'd reckon.

DougGuy did some work on my Blackhawk and is a great guy to watch work (does a great job too. Highly recommended).

NCBEARMAN I've met several times. Real nice guy to talk to and deal with.

Another member who lurks more than posts stopped by out of the blue after reading a post of mine about something. Turns out he lives a road over. offered good advice and i ended up selling him 2lbs of unique during thecshortage so he and a guy down the road could keep shooting

I've been very lucky. After I started poking around a the site I had a member seek me out and offered me to use a couple moulds. Now I have seen him several times. That friend goes by the screen name Pepe Ray. Pepe has likely forgot more than I'll ever know about firearms and loading.
For a while a couple years back I was going to Wally World in the morning string to get .22 ammo and found out the clerk was a member that goes be the screen name Tsignal.
A couple Christmas's ago I drove and met Gray Wolf and his wife Wise Owl to purchase a beautiful GP100 in 6"
One day I couldn't resist a deal on a Magnum Reseach .22 auto and met member Jrayborn.
On a weekly basis I shoot with DirtyGP100, STI4ME and PMG.
And last but not least I work with new member stub9111
I am blessed to be able to enjoy the fine company of these quality members and look foward to meeting many many more.

I met Cariboo for breakfast a couple of years ago. I always mean to stop at his place when I go north to visit my son and granddaughter but time never seems to allow.

I had that happen in Iowa. I was up there on training and with our schedules it just didn't work out.

Planning a trip to Colorado Springs area this fall. Might have to post and see what the locals are up too at that time as coffee and a story is always good!

I've talked with him on the phone a few times. I know he moved recently and was adjusting. Hope he's doing well. I always meant to make it down to see him.

Shoot it me a PM Ray if you see this.

Only a few, several members close by so I'm not trying hard enough. Only met one local, others have been in Amarillo, Raton and Cody but I think I'm forgetting someone. Tried to have a cup of coffee in Cuero with Ranch Dog Sunday but couldn't make it happen. My shooting buddy lurks here and I met MV long before I (or anyone else) was a member here.
