Got into making this one the other day, finished it up by making the punch today. This one is for the .323 or 8MM 150 plinker. The die sizes to .3245 and although I wanted it be .325/.326 the boolits as cast are only .3245 so I left it at that. It has six lube grooves but the nose dia at the first lube groove is only .314 thus rendering using that first groove useless as it spews lube all over the nose of the bullet, so I blocked that hole and the next one and am only lubing 4 grooves. That's fine. the lube hole in the die are a two diameter hole done by drilling deep enough with the center drill to get a slight champfer and then drilling through with a no. 60 drill. Three sets of holes are set 60 degrees apart and the other three are offset .0 625" I included a couple of shots of the drilling operation. One with the center drill and the other with the #60 drill that clearly shows the offset of the holes. Again this die and punch are boolit specific, no adjusting needed.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice, Paul. I like that stop in your mill vise, too. And it looks like you're using a pin in the die bore to take care of break-through burrs.

I'm tooling up my Myford Super 7B and Clausing 8530 mill for just this sort of work. Thanks for the writeup.

I don't do the two diameter holes anymore, they are a PITA and not necessary when you can custom drill the holes to match your needs. Star uses them to allow blocking with lead shot when they aren't needed.
