I hope everyone bought that Grainger solder - my 10 lbs should last me a loooong time.

I've found that using aluminum molds and straight WW will make well filled out boolits without tin.I'm also finding out that plain base boolits will shoot just as accurate as GC boolits if you use slow powders and make sure they're seated straight and softer is often better for a good gas seal. Some cast boolit shooters say they don't use GC boolits much at all anymore and don't use tin either.

I've already gone through two pounds of the Grainger Tin here! I'll check and see if I can get another ten pounds... Worked some decent OT last Friday...

Happy Shootin'! -Tom

I`m probably beating on a dead horse here. Go to your local radiator shop and beg or buy the waste solder in the bottom of their tanks. When they solder or unsolder the tanks on brass radiators they do it over the water tanks they use to test for leaks. Most shops don`t reuse it. They may give it to you or sell it cheaply.---dale

I've had the same results as 45R.
