:-) Might be coming into a Ruger revolver in 30 carbine cal.How would it work loading it down to 32-20 specs with a maybe 100 gr slug? The 30 carbine is just plumb NASTY in a pistol.Muzzle flash on a cloudy day looks like a pack howitzer going off.And the muzzle blast will for sure cross your eyes.
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

it works great.
I went even further and trimmed down 32-20 brass and use 32-20 loads in them. [oddly with a 32-20 boolit sized to 312]
I now have a straight-tapered walled 32-20 revolver that headspaces on the rim.

Ruger 30C loaded to 32/20 levels work great. Been doing it for years. I like the RCBS 95 gr SWC and the Lyman 311419. I size them to .309 but have also used .310 and .311. It can be very accurate once you work the load for your gun. Light plinking loads are fun and cheaper than 22 LR.

Wish I had a Ruger .30 carbine. Have always been fascinated by them, just never have found one I could afford (3 screw).
