So I have a 358 Winchester barrel on the way for a savage action. I plan on also building a 358 Winchester AR-10 upper. Any suggestions on bullet molds? I plan on running one of these suppressed and other supersonic. Subsonic loads and molds would be appreciated as I may use jacketed bullets supersonic.

The RCBS 35-200-FN is one of the best there is. Very accurate, and deadly on game.

The 35-250 shot very well for me also .
The Lee 358-200 is very similar to the RCBS 35-200 and shoots well also .
I intend to work with the NOE 360 228 XCB soon , since the chamber was cut for that bullet it should be a cinch .

should be but many have trouble with it.

the saeco #248 comes in at a bit over 250grs and would make a fine sub sonic boolit.
it makes a good full jacketed velocity boolit in the bolt guns.

I have had my best results with the RCBS. The XCB was so bad I sold the mold.

Would you mind expanding on the failures ?

Would the NOE 300gr thumper work? The rifle will be a long action so I can fit whatever bullet as long as it'll fit in the chamber. Also, it is a 24" barrel I'm cutting back and having threaded. What length? 19", 20", or 21"?
