About an hour's worth of effort, starting with a cold mold.

Now I need to decide what color to powder coat them. I've been testing some of the powders I have on hand and it's going to be hard to decide what color to do these in. I've posted pictures in the coatings forum.

I tested seven different colors today.

do some of each color
or mix some and see what comes out

after all they are going down the barrel and you're going to have to cast more

Great looking job on those in your picture

lots of guys are using different colors for different loads so they can easily keep track of the test loads.

That's a good sized pile for only an hour. I'm going to guess a Lee 6 cavity H&G 68 200 mold.

Whatever color you like. It's kinda like asking what color car or truck you like to drive. It wont get better gas mileage or anything, it's strictly what the user likes.

I'd be ashamed to put any color at all on those shiny little casts...Id use high gloss clear.

Yup, I was thinking the same thing. Man, those look nice!

Are you tumble PC'ing, or ESPC'ing?

I recently got a few cans of Johnson's Liquid Floor Wax for making BLL, but still am anxious to give ESPC a try.

I tumble PC because the powder seems to last so much longer...yup, this guy made some beautiful casts.
Clear gloss will make them look like chrome boolits.

I tumble PC.

I've got some 200% clear gloss.

They are so shiny because they are 98/2.

I've also got an awesome silver that works very well on lures and I have a black I want to try.
