Cast up a few hundred to break in the new mold. It works like a champ!
Boolits fall easily from the mold. In HP form these weigh 206gr.
Alloy is 50/50 coww pure plus 1% tin. These are air cooled.
I think I'll try 6gr of Universal to start. My Kimber seems to like an AOL of 1.240"

They're beautiful...what are you going to test them in? Will you post pictures too?

The standard version of that one is on my want list...

Me too, I inadvertently bought a Lee TL 6banger that my gun hates.

If it helps you any. The mold comes with three sets of pins. These, a cup point, and a flat point to make solids.

I have the same boolit mold from RCBS but only solids. It's the most accurate shooting 45 boolit I've shot yet. Out of my beretta px4 I got a couple 1.5" groups at 27 yards. I though about getting the hollow point one you have but settled on the 225 hollow point rounds nose from mpmolds, I figuered that if I wanted a 200grn hollow point I could have bought a 40cal.

Ewwww pretty, try them out with some hogdon clays for paper punching and you won't be disappointed. 4.2grains was my beretta's sweet spot.

I have the same mold but in brass and 2 cavity. Both of my 45s love it. It was my first NOE mold and if I had it to do over I'd have gotten the 4 cavity aluminum like you. Arthritis is messing with me with the heavy molds anymore.

I got rid of my two brass molds as well. A two cav. and a 4 cav. A bit much weight for my liking.

Pretty. I like a good HP mold-the 68 is just a great all-around 45 boolit.

Brass molds make great bullets.
No need for a membership in a gym if you own a 4 cav. Brass mold.

Nice!!!
I shoot a lot of the #68 hp's. Mine are 185gr from a mihec mold. The hp's edge out the standard swc's accuracy wise on the 50yd line.

Enjoy, there are excellent bullets.
