What power of scope is on that 1300KT?

The 1300KT is very tempting. I had one in my cart when they had 25 percent off and free shipping. Carbine stock, 14.6 LW .22 barrel, Williams peep. But I already have a 1389 Backpacker with a 14.6 barrel, steel breech, carbine stock, brass flattop valve and FT piston, and steel peep sight. So I backed out of the 1300.

The price was right with the free shipping and 25% discount. The scope is a 3x9 BSA Sweet 22. I borrowed it off my 22LR so I could try out the 1300kt. I might keep it on there or buy a AO scope with Mildots that adjusts to short yardage. The BSA does adjust down clear at 7.5. It just doesn't have Mildots.

I put a 3-7X BSA .22 scope on my 880. Not sure where this scope even came from, I found it in my parts bin. I had been given a number of old scopes over the years, some came on defunct rifles broken up for parts, others were just no longer wanted after the owner upgraded to a better scope.
I like the reticle but it was hard to sight it in for some reason. Had to use all its focus adjustment to get a clear image at 25 yards. The scope was crusty and battered but cleaned up okay.
It does look nice on the 880, just the right size.
Actually at air rifle ranges I can shoot better using open sights.

My older eyes say scope lol though Trifocals help me see the front sight clear on my 1911's.

Funny thing my eyesight has actually improved in the last ten years or so, and that after a sudden and unexplained improvement around 25 years ago. At the present time my near sightedness is mild but I still have some astigmatism.
I can't use my glasses at all when reading, print at arms length is clear, and at times the vision in my left eye is near 20-20 but only for a day or two before it goes back to the average for me, no such temporary improvement in the right eye . On a very bright day I can read road signs at quite a distance without glasses.

Apparently the same aging process that causes people with very good vision when younger to become farsighted when older also works to reduce nearsightedness when one gets older.

I usually focus my scopes so that I can see fairly clearly with or without glasses.
