Christmas for Ken “45 Nut”

Many of you know Ken from years gone by. Some of our newer members may not know him since he has been away from the site for some time now.

A brief history about Ken. He is the founder of Cast Boolits. He set the standards that this forum is operated by, a family forum. Ken had a deep love for casting and he started this forum so he and others could share their knowledge of Cast Boolits plus have a good time while doing it.

For several years now, Ken has been ill. It came to the point that he had to turn the forum over to those whom he trusted.

In past years we have ran a special during Christmas for Ken. We try to donate a little money to help him through the hard times he is facing.

From what I’ve been told this time. The funds will have to go to one of our members. Once the fund drive is over, the designated member will forward the funds to Ken.

I propose that we start the fund drive now and end it in two weeks on the 20th. All funds need to be in by the 20th.

But when I requested a wellness check on him the County Sheriff told me KEN had to be in decent shape by the way he ------- to the police.

Alright, everyone. It's Friday so here is the amount that I promised to post. Everyone was most generous this Christmas. I was able to send Ken a check for $950 in a card from everyone here at Castboolits. I'm sure he will be both pleased and surprised at the Christmas Gift and will put it to good use.

An update. Ken received the card and the check. He is not in the best of health and was not feeling well so had not checked his mail in several days. Another member here called him after I PM'd the member with some concern after the check had not been cashed. Ken was extremely surprised to hear about the card and is very happy and appreciative to all of the members here that took the time to donate. He will use the money to catch up on some bills and wanted to say thank you to everyone for their generosity.
