Are you handy?
Do you need a replacement sprue plate for a Lee 6 cav mold, and want to try a steel one?
Then you qualify for this giveaway. There is only one.

Here's what you need to know, before you ask for this plate.

you may need to file/sand/grind the "slot" on this plate to fit your mold...or possibly something else?

I mounted it on a mold. It seemed to fit fine. It opened and closed fine while at room temp. I preheated it and when I tried to cast, I couldn't swing the sprue plate open. It was stuck. It seemed to be binding on the slot. I set it aside and removed the plate after it cooled. I installed another plate and the other one worked fine...I then cast a pile of boolits.

This should be an easy fix, I just don't feel like dealing with it. I don't believe this plate is warped.

I have bought steel sprue plates from 3 different sources. Two sources were older group buys, and the third source was Red River Rick(his plates have worked great). This Plate that I am offering is from one of the old Group Buys. It is the only one with a trough, I don't remember anything else about it.

ANYWAY, that's the deal, if you are handy and need a sprue plate...it's free, no strings attached.
