LAMII Top punch

How do I know what top punch to get? I'm Shooting Lee 200gr rfp from a 6 cavity mold #90697. I have the 452 size die but dont have the top punch. And cant tell from the RCBS website witch one to order. Ya this is the first luber-sizer I have owned. Sorry for being too new. Any help is welcome. :castmine:

To make any flat pointed nose punch take a 1/4" bolt and grind the flats off it. Turn it down to 35 caliber and ensure that it fits into your die without scratching it. You can use a grinder and a pair of pliers or a drill motor and a file.
Lee makes no nose punches or recomendations as their system doesn't use them. RCBS will not tell you what to use on something they did not manufacture. Each considers their system to be the best. Gianni

Thanks. Will1/4 bar stock work? whats the .000 of 35 cal?

1/4" fits best in the area that the punch is screwwed down in with the allen screw. The diameter you want is >.358. 0.250 may leave a mark on the bullet. Gianni
