I see an EBAY ad now when logging on. Aren't they against most everything we do here? Long ago they outlawed brass sales, and recently banned Gas Checks. Yes, you can still find molds there, but for how long?

I have several times in the last two days gotten a banner ad that comes on as a blaring loud video. I see it elsewhere online regularly, just caught me off guard at 2am with speakers on and up. Not what I was expecting from this site (though in hindsight should have seen it coming, more members equals more bandwidth as just one obvious factor), my volume is at 0% by default now.

I bet only people who have been to Ebay lately will get it. I don't get it but I have not been to Ebay in about a year.

I go to Ebay at least twice a week (cheap bandages) and I have not seen a banner for it on here yet. Maybe I just been missing it.

I've never seen an eBay banner here. Might want to run an adware/spyware/malware scan on your system.

AND, I focus what I CAN get from Ebay and NOT what I Can't get from EBAY.

For the NON-Ebay stuff, I go to Gunbroker

If eBay wishes to pay to advertise on the site I see no issue. They're a legitimate business. People can choose to do business there or not.

I have learned a lot about molds from cruising ebay and searching the archives here , but I know ebay is not a second amendment supporter , but as a business we can change that . Tell them how you feel .

I agree, it sounds like adware or spyware. Try downloading the free version of Malwarebytes and run it. You might be amazed at what come up.

My pop-up blocker works most of the time but some of them still get through. I also had a service provider that steered my browser to Google on every fourth login because they had a deal with them.
If you never go to eBay and have no desire to, you should be able to add them to your list of blocked sites. It's in your privacy/security menu somewhere.

None for me. I'd check that the history and cookies are wiped every time you shut off the computer. I use mozilla and have no problems anymore since I enabled that and turned on an ad blocker. As said, download free malwarebytes or avast and run a scan.
