When a fella thinks up a bullet design and shoots it the first time, now and then there's something positive in the outcome.
Brooks Mould, .430", 320 grains, 30:1 alloy, 1050 fps:

And when he turns around and shoots a short string of commercial hard cast with all else pretty much equal, he might see just how positive it is:

It is a CVA rifle, break action SS. 15 grains of 4227, ALOX lube.
