So what headstamps do you cull for 380?

General, cull for all pistol calibers-
Crimped- not worth my time.
Herters- tight, tight primer pockets.
Amerc- on general principal.

Just added FEDERAL.AUTO 380 to my list.

Works fine with .355 jacketed/plated.
But crushes/swells with .357 cast.
Not just coke bottled, but feels like it is crushed at the base of the bullet.
Will not chamber easily/at all.

What other headstamps do you cull for 380 and why?

I don't shoot a lot of 380's, so I really don't have a cull list for them. I tend to loose them long before they wear out. I would probably cull any Amerc on general principals and maybe Herters. Win, RP, Federal all seem to load ok for me.

I had a Lupa to blow and wreck a MP60 after checking I found that they were cheaply made in South Korea so I don't load them period.

I cull or load with jacketed only, AP, blazer, DRT, MaxxTech, A USA, HPR, S&B, Perfecta, FC.
I keep for loading .357 cast, Federal, R P, PMC, perfecta.
This is what I got from a purchase of 2,500 range pickup. About Half were loaded with cast .357.

When I sort my 380 brass out I normally only cull out the ones with head stamps that will give me a headache later on. One such example was one that read "9mm br.sht" if I'm remembering right.

In 380, Amerc, Tula, and any crippled brass.

No problem with Federal though, all take all of that I can find.

So far all I've done are 90 grain RN's...but, I lube-size at .356".
No problems with any of the cases thus far.
When I find a .355" sizer I'll try to PC some...it's just that they are so small and slick that they jump out of my fingers like Mexican Jumping Beans.

Culled out the federal.auto in my last batch.
Other federal head stamps work ok.
It is my custom .357 expander that is causing the issue.
The transition from .357 to the flaring portion of the die gives me issues with some other headstamped cases getting stuck.
I have polished it some and that has helped, still needs improvement.

On the federal.auto cases it just causes the cases to buckle.
I tried backing the die out to almost no flare and it was better, but still some buckling.
So until I get that transition cleaned up some more, no federal.auto for me.

i had a bunch of "S&B" that had loose primer pockets on the first reloading (found as range pickups), primers were falling right out on some after loading, so I cull all those now
