I'm wishing that lee made a .645 round ball mold for a 14 gauge musket I have.

1820's era Massachusetts Militia Musket by Thomas French, given as to me as a wall hanger. Had been converted to percussion, lock was not working. My friend Jeff Miller of Waldoboro Maine breeched it for me, honed the bore and returned it to flint. 70 grains FFFg and a bare .645 ball topped with a little newspaper wadding will hit the black at 35 yards.

I like Lee's round ball molds, especially since they cut the sprue flat.

What are others doing for a 14 gauge mold?

Try Jeff Tanner in the UK. He will make whatever size you want and I understand his prices are still quite reasonable:

Got .678 and .683 ball molds for use in the 1816 and the Fremont, both nominally .69 bore.
