Hey all, just wondering of those who have added copper sulfate to their lead...
I realise you can add pewter but means the addition of lots of Tin, so I'm wondering what the weight of copper sulfate people have experimented
with in their cast bullets, using lyman #2, linotype etc and what their results were on target? (Expansion etc.)

I have a new batch of smelter (totally clean, no impurities) lyman #2, pure lead and Linotype, plan to add some copper sulfate or some pewter.
Any and all experiences welcome.
Jim.

talk to popper.
but you use zinc in the alloy then replace the zinc with the copper sulphate.
basically your trading one for the other.

in the lead alloy section there is a sticky called lets talk about this further [airc] and adding copper is that threads whole focus.
