Yesterday, a friend gave me some fresh blackberries, and I added them to a batch of fry bread and then added the picture to the page above. I can't describe how delicious this blackberry flavored fry bread tasted. To my way of thinking, it's an ideal trail food. As you'll see in the article, my original batch lasted over three months hanging on my back porch, and it was still edible. Hard but edible. And still tasty.
