Several years ago here in LA there was a news story about a guy that got home unexpectedly and found his wife in bed with someone else, he stabbed them both to death. The local TV news went on for days that this was proof positive that guns should be banned. CBS even went so far as to have a huge blown up photo of a revolver on the wall behind the talking head as he went on and on flapping his gums about this horrible stabbing and how evil guns are. Go figure huh?

The article states, "Mrs Regan's years of campaigning began with visits to local schools, talking to children about the dangers of knife and gun crime."

We aren't told anything about the motive for the crime. Could have been anything...
But, if the killer was trying to end her activism, he added validity to her campaign against 'knife violence' by not choosing a club.

In a sidebar to the story; "...a 19 year-old man thought to be her grandson has been arrested."
I'd bet the young man was severely disturbed or had substance abuse issues, at least.
