While sorting through my 223/5.56 brass, I found several hundred PMC brass.
No crimped in primers.
What quality is this brass?
Does it compare to LC 5.56?.
Is it good, average or poor quality brass?...dale

Good quality, sound brass. Use it in most of my European calibers.

in the 223 it's good stuff.
it won't need annealing for 3-4 more loadings yet.
I have noticed a little difference between the BIG PMC and the little pmc marked cases.
but I pretty much set the pmc brass off to the side for loading Jacketed [good] bullets to use in my 1/2" varmint rifle.

I've been using the PMC in the .45 ACP and have over 25 reloads on my range ammo...this brass is excellent. My range ammo goes at 900FPS/200g.SWC & RNFP's, so you can see that I'm not molly coddling it either.

Goood stuff!

One .223Rem load I developed with PMC brass, does 5 shots into 0.35" @ 100 yds from a Rem 700 .223 sporter. So their brass can certainly be consistent.

I have used Pan Metal Corporation ( the original name) brass since it first appeared in Texas in the 1970's. Not a single complaint. Ever. Best, Thomas.

Agree. I use lots of it in 44 Rem Mag. Works just fine.

It is good brass. I scored a deal on some 7.62 nato brass a few years back and have several thousand and have shot through it plenty. No complaints here

Another positive opinion on PMC brass. Most I see is .223 rem, 45 ACP, and 9mm. The 9mm is very hard brass.

I believe the actual manufacturer is Poongsan Munitions Corp. I may be wrong...

My first experience reloading pmc brass, I had a difficult time sizing and depriming what was supposed to be once fired brass. The issue was that most of them had the flash holes off center. The rest of the pmc brass I had went into the scrap bucket.

Best 223 brass I find!

I can't argue with all the experts above, but my personal opinion of 223 PMC brass is it is junk. Hard to resize and not consistent flash holes, but I like Rem brass and LC. So that's my two cents worth. Maybe I need to revisit PMC again and give it another shot.

You are not wrong. I was. Since 1968 it's been Poongsan munitions corp with two plants in South Korea. Thanks Echo! Best, Thomas.

I recently did a head-to-head comparison of PMC versus LC and others. All the PMC I've found has good flash holes, and the PMC performed very good. Very consistent case weights, good accuracy as well

I've used it for years without issue. I used PMC brass for my prairie dog loads this year.

I used PMC and Winchester 7.62x39 Brass for reforming to 6.5 Grendel last year. Both worked equally well.

Don`t tell a friend of mine that it is good ammo. Six years ago he was using his 1911 Gold Cup and practicing with a half dozen boxes of PMC .45 acp ammo. Half way thru a box of ammo he had an small explosion when he pulled the trigger. The problem was there was no flash hole for the primer flame to ignite the powder in 1 of the cartridges. Took awhile to get the pistol working properly again. He got brass pieces in his hand from the case head. The lawsuits aren`t settled yet.Robert

It's not like there hasn't been the same kind of problem with other Mfg.
It very rarely happens, but it's not unheard of.

Winchester had this same issue a few years ago with some of it's .40S&W ammo.

Good stuff. No problems at all with it. It's also available in 20 round boxes loaded. Normally one of the least expensive loaded 223 out there. It what I bought for new brass.
