- lots of people here using plastic food containers, you can also use Emptied bullet boxes/ammo boxes.

Lyman makes some nice ones for their 4 cavity molds.
I have a couple that double as case holders for reloading, similar to the old Redding die boxes.

I use ammo cans too. Wrap them in an oily rag and they stay in good condition.

I use the Plano fishing tackle clear boxes with removable dividers.

I use tile sample boxes for my non Lee moulds. Two of them do the job.

Four cavity is the max they will hold in the 6 to 12 position. There are two short cavities per container where a four cavity NOE won't fit. One from MP or Accurate will. I'm not a fan of single containers because they take up to much space. And obviously the mold handles are removed for storage.

Where can you get the Lyman 4 cavity boxes?

I've looked and ask for years. The folks at M&M and other plastic container mfg say there isn't enough volume to be worth the expensive process of new sizes. Maybe if we all proposed a buy they would listen, It's not like we're just going to buy one
each.
It takes numbers that the bean counters can see, before anything happens. Even made in China would work if no one here is interested.

Have any of you looked at your local Wal-Mart for plastic containers? I have a few I found in the school supply department, they have removable lids that are secured on each end and they stack very well, the bottom of the box fits into the lid on top. I have the 2 smaller sizes but they sale a number of different size boxes. The small one has an inside dimension (L * W * D) of 2.4" x 1.875" x 1.725" the next size up is 3.9" x 2.875" x 1.25". Here are a few pictures of what they look like. I bought the clear but they sale other colors as well.

I use those myself , I think they are supposed to be for Crayon's , I found them in that department in Wallymart , the 4" x 3" x 1 1/4 " size is just right for holding 150 38/9mm boolits, stacked side by side, two layers deep and they have the snap on lid. The smaller size will hold 60 boolits , just right for those few leftovers that will not fit into the big box.

The Lyman mould boxes can be ordered from Midway.
Mold is the stuff that grows on wet sheetrock....the bottle's all say mold and mildew remover. Trust me , I've seen way too many of those bottles lately.

All of my moulds are Lee moulds, so my solution may be a little different from yours.

I decided to go big on the storage solution. I found a deal on a damaged Stanley tool chest at Wally World. Evidently it had been dropped as a bottom corner was bent. It needed a little TLC.

I decided it would be perfect for what I needed.

Lee molds come in a box thats stakes easily. You can buy the basic 'small' lyman box. I got some from Midway not long ago. 2 lyman molds will fit in one, and the NOE molds, provided they dont have the HP pins. Some of my NOE stay in the card board box they came in. They all stack on a shelf nicely.
