i have a tc encore with a 27" MGM heavy factory barrel(.810" muzzle) and i would like to rebore it to a 50-70 government(MGM dosn't make a 50-70 gov). tuesday or so, i am going to call JES rebore to see if its possible to do. is there anyone else that does rebores? or should i try a JES?

By all means just contact JES and send it if he can do it. I had an 1894 Winchester saddle carbine with a heavily pitted barrel in .30WCF sent it to him to be rebored to .38-55. Got it back in less than two weeks and did a fantastic job! I had the deluxe 5 groove done, he also does a 3 groove. Great guy to deal with, fast turn over time, and good communication.

I have used JES to re-bore a Ruger No.1V in 22/250 to .338/06. Less than two week turn around time. I also have a Marlin 336 that was a .30/30 and is now a .38/55 from JES.
