I've ran across them a couple of times now and thought they might be associated with Remington? Maybe not...looks like they make 1911 parts, guns? Maybe AR15 too? Looks like they're located in Ludlow Mass. Anybody ever deal with them or buy their 1911 parts?

The internet describes them as a small business with two employees engaged in the automotive repair business with a small machine shop located in Ludlow, MA. Apparently they make (?) and sell forged 1911 frames and slides. There are indications that perhaps these parts are actually made in Brazil, which would make sense as the Brazilians still make forged frames. I'll bet that they will have name difficulty with Remington down the road, especially with Remington now being back in the 1911 business. I have no personal experience with their parts, but have seen them mentioned a couple of times.

The name is confusing, I thought they were a sub division of Remington for a while. I couldn't find much at all when I searched them other than Ludlow Mass. I did a search for 1911 Para ramped barrels and they popped up selling on e-bay. I also found they sell slides on e-bay that look very much like the ones Fusion Firearms sell, in fact exactly alike. They advertise made in USA, I was wondering what kind of operation they have.

Yes, the name is confusing. The "Rem" part automatically makes one think of Remington. And Remington has used it in such products as Rem Oil.
So one can almost see the copyright infringement lawsuit looming on the horizon.

Oh yeah! I can envision a change of name in the near future for em.

The answer is they are

https://www.facebook.com/trenabling1

or
http://www.tr-enabling.com/ (https://www.facebook.com/trenabling1)

It is basically an independent machine shop who make top quality 1911 parts for ???
I have actually visited them and there is no retail space it is a machine shop.
They do not use the name remsport much. So I would look at the facebook page and go from there...

So their parts are pretty good? They're offering 416R stainless Para ramped barrels for 1911 or Commanders for $130.00, not a bad price if they're good quality barrels.
