Here's a picture of the Lube sizer I use for .577" bullets.

It was made at the Vickers Armstrong factory just up the Tyne from me as a one of, probably for someone in their shooting club when they had such things.

It has an insert to take ordinary Lyman/RCBS sizing dies.

Dromia,

Looks like you'd have no trouble sizing .577 bullets with that machine! You could probably even bring them down to .303 if you had to! :bigsmyl2:

............Dromia, that thing's a monster. Is that welded up out of plate or just machined out of one big hunk? [smilie=l: How's things over in Old Blighty? Cooling off a bit?

The whole damn things machined, the only weld is the tube on the top of the sizing arm, this looks like an after thought to raise the ejector rod linkage to allow the rod to come up far enough to push the bullets out of a non .577" die.

Its still unnaturally hot over here, mid 50's days, mid 40s nights. My jacket is worn through at the neck its been hanging on the hook so long. We are being promised a proper hard winter this year by the forecasters, not that that means much. If I want to know the weather I usually look outside.

With that linkage looks like you could swage and size as well as lubricate...../beagle
