What is your MAX load for Trail Boss .38 Special 158 SWC (L)

I have a book that states 4.2 max tb,

My Lee disk .95 throws 4.4 gr my lee 1.02 throws 4.8 gr

both feel good, but that 4.8gr seems to have just a better grouping.

Pistol is a S&W 19-3, cases come out just fine and no leading.

Any max loads your willing to share would be great.

You don't have to do much measuring. Just locate where the bottom of the projectile is and fill to just below that (approx. 95% load density). Do not fill to there base of projectile or compress the charge because pressures and velocities will do strange and wonderful (often scary) things. You should get about 60% of the max velocities with standard powders.
