PBS had a fundraiser tonight, featuring a concert by the Highwaymen in 1990. Waylon, Willy, Johnny, and Kris. Oh man... Ol' Labile Echo teared up when they did 'Leukenbach Texas'. As I said above - Oh Hot Dam*. The love and respect they showed for each other, and the audience, was palpable. I recorded it...

Wish I'd known that one was coming on, I'd have watched it for sure.

PBS programming was such garbage for a lot of years, but I've been up a few times when I couldn't sleep in the wee hours of the morning and channel surfed and they have some darn good documentaries on during that time, watched a two hour one on Richard Nixon the other day that was very well done. Maybe it's not a total waste of taxpayers dollars after all.
