View Full Version : RCBS customer service comes thru for me - AGAIN

So a while ago I wrote that I picked up a used RCBS press and someone had evidently lost the nut that held on the handle and replaced with a castle nut from the front end of their truck or something similar - I contacted RCBS and they just for free mailed me a replacement. I was impressed but said to myself a $0.50 nut good for free publicity - excellent decision on their part.

I picked up a used RCBS Universal primer hand tool - it only had the large size primer feed and that was busted and no tray - so I contacted RCBS again to see what it would cost for a Tray, a large and small feed and the wrench and small primer push rod - they just responded that it was ALL headed my way without charge. Color me impressed - I couldn't find the small stuff but the Tray they sell for $8.95 so I'm guessing it's about $20 bucks of parts. Now this is approaching the kind of treatment I get from Dillon.

I think I'll write a Thank You letter for their wall.

Always good to hear reports of good customer service. Dillon and RCBS have always been good to me so I buy their products. I'm done with Lyman and I own a bunch of their stuff!! I don't mind buying and paying for replacement items that I have received fair value from no matter what the product or manufacturer. The product support representatives at Lyman are poorly trained and abrasive to customers even if you have a part # that is in stock. I don't blame them one bit, its the upper level management that deserves all the credit for the daily operation. I hope someone from Lyman is on here to see this.

3 times in the last year I have had the same exceptional parts service (100% free) from RCBS.

I used a standard RCBS 8 m/m Lebel reloading die to form cases out of 348 Winchester brass, and cracked it badly. E-mailed RCBS, explained what happened, admitted fault and asked for the price of the single die. They said, "send it in so we can take a look at it." I did, and a short time later found a package in the mailbox. RCBS sent me a brand new Die, shellholder and box, Free! And a nice handwritten note thanking me for using RCBS products and explaining that they had specially modified my new die so it would reload 8 m/m lebel and still form cases from 348 Winchester! Was impressed and thrilled to say the least. Have used that die for years, always works perfectly.
Needless to say, I am a huge fan of RCBS and highly recommend them.

I have had the same great customer service from RCBS also. Four or five times i have needed replacement or lost parts for some of my equipment and every time ( No charge sir !!! ) Look for the package to arrive in just a few days.

I am also a fan of RCBS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the exception of Dillon presses, everything has been GREEN for me. That ole red brand has really turned me off with lousy CS and press/die issues over the past year.

I have always had good service from these folks. I will continue to trade with RCBS .
