So wonder whats going to happen when some black footed ferrets die from eating the poisoned cabbage they are now using to kill prairie dogs

they all pretty much succumbed to the plague.
those are gonna be some hungry ferrets.

The Ferrets would more likely die from eating the poisoned prarrie dogs than the cabbage.

The USFS is feeding them peanut butter M&M's, they should do alright.

We saw a ferret or a weasel on a prairie dog hunt back in the 1980s near Parmalee SD. I still wonder if it was a black footed ferret. It was in the middle of a PD town.
