A couple rare birds

172555I wanted to photograph this pair of 22-250 Savage 99 rifles with my new 99 book by David Royal, so I thought I would share them with you. The 22-250 is a rare one in a 99. I bought the only two I have ever seen. Hope you all enjoy them. Regards, 021

That is a nice looking pair of 99s. Have they been refinished? While an excellent rifle, they aren't as common as the Win.s and Marlins. I once had a customer who had a 99 in .250 Savage and wouldn't part with it for anything.

They look just like new, so you really do have something there. (Guess you knew that!)

Both were fired before I purchased them, and then I test fired each one. But they have been used very little. It is remarkable that they are in virtually new condition. My poor photography skills are evident. Thanks for the reply. :)

Very nice pair indeed! I lucked into a nearly-new 99 awhile back and they are quite unusual. Most belonged to serious hunters who used them a lot, evidently. Enjoy!
