Does anyone use Rooster liquid bullet lube ?If so with what results ? in what cals.?

I've used Rooster Jacket in .380, .38 Special, and .45 ACP. It's a good non messy alternative to LLA for midrange pistol loads. No better than Johnson's Paste Wax, though. Tried some in a .25-20, and it did well with PB bullets to 1200 fps. Not worth putting on with GC bullets at 1600 fps and over.

I use it on the high volume stuff I use for competition. .45 ACP in both revolver and auto. .38 Special in revolver. It does the job at the moderate velocities required by making power factor in USPSA and ICORE and it is much cleaner than LLA. LLA is a better lube though.

I havent tried rooster jacket,but i tried corbin liquid lube on the lee tumble lube bullets. worked for me, messy,put bullets in a container pour over the lube spred out cookie sheet, mine not the wifes,run through the lee sizers and relube. left bullets stickey. did not like the process i use a star and lyman 450 now. Bill
