I seem to get different #s for the same stuff sometimes. I have read to do a 30 second hold. I also wonder what the standard temp is for the lead.

..............If you're using the pressure imprint, the dwell time on the sample should be the same as what you used on the pure lead. You get different readings if there is a void under the imprint rod, or if you use it too close to the edge. Lead will displace to the side, but it's easy to tell as the imprint will be oval shaped.
