Finally got around to pouring some hammers with a Chas Field #3 mold. Do I assume the #3 is a 3 pound hammer? Will get some pix soon. Fired up a cast sauce pan to melt lead and it took less than 10 minutes to do four of them using 1/2" pipe. While on a roll I went down to local lumber yard to buy more 1/2" pipe. $6. Went to Agway and they want $5.25 for a 2ft piece. Went home and turned off the gas. Will look for some scrap. Will do about ten and then probably offer for sale and let someone else bother with the lending circuit bit should they want to.
