30x223 die set

Well long story short, I traded for a 30calx223 Savage barrel. This is the 30 cal on the 223 rem , just open up the neck on the 223 rem brass to 308. I cannot afford the dies. Does anyone have a old set lying about that I could trade something for?

You should be able to neck size with Lyman 310 dies from any of the shorter 30 cal cartridges.

I will have to keep a watch on flea- Bay. I would need a adapter to use them in my Old Lyman Spartan Press.
How are you doing with that old RB Rifle ?

I just use lyman 300 blackout dies with my 30-223 that I just put together. 300 whisper might work for you, but the blackout worked better for me.

You may also neck it with 30 Herrett dies .

Also, you can try neck sizing with 32 ACP, or 30 Cal Carbine dies :)

Well opened up 223 brass to 6x45 and then used a Lee 7.7 jap sizer that has the long tapered pin. Then used a RCBS 30-30 sizer die then a the RCBS 30-30 seater to seat the bullet. So far so good.
