What would be the best Unique load using this Lyman 311255, 115 gr plain base round nose in my 14" Contender with a 1 in 14" twist? I was thinking a 7 gr load would be a good starting point. I've also got Bullseye, 2400, Red Dot, Accurate #9 and #7. What are your thoughts? My mold is a single cavity and drops a very consistent 116 gr boolit, also I can't find this mold listed by Lyman, I wonder if it has been discontinued. It's a good looking boolit with one good sized grease grove and a crimp grove.

7.0-8.5 grains are the range I looked at. I ended up using 8.0 grains of Unique with 110 grain.

Thanks guys. I will start at 7gr and work up.
rintinglen, do you know what the FPS was with the 8gr load?

My Lyman book makes me guess they are at 1600 fps or so.
