Today I received a PM from another forum that I had been picked for a free T Shirt from 300 Blktalk
all I had to do was click here ..
Knowing that millions of Email accounts were just hacked with Google, Yahoo and other I was cautious .
Clicked for the senders history and they had just setup an account today

It was a Phishing or virus download

See this article on the email breaches ... Please be cautious

I got the same thing earlier.

Found out a very long time ago that you don't click links from someone you don't know....

I always figured if it was free I wasnt out anything in refusing it. Used to be a big scam at fairs around here before internet enter our free drawing for ?????. For 8-10 weeks after the fair you would recieve solicitors phone calls and salesman at the door. Free is seldom actually free

Makes me remind how I lost a long forgotten Uncle in Nigeria in about 1997... Heck he left me 500,000 I just had to deposit some fees and taxes to get the money. I asked the sender to pay it down and take half of the proceeds but he never returned my email.
BTW one of my favorite writers is O. Henry ;)

Good looking out. I haven't logged into 300blktalk in ages, but I just checked. I had one of those phishing e-mails as well. I reported it and deleted it.

I got a strange one last week. Someone got into my friend's address book and sent everyone an email about buying a pill that will increase your IQ 77%. He, the scammer sent me 38 email messages. Let's see, 77X38=2926% increase. WOW!!!
