Does anyone know if the gun show in St. Charles, IL is worth an hour side trip?

I don't know what size of a gun show you are used to, but this one is decent sized. The non-gun tables are kept to a minimum. Biggest issue is that it is pretty crowded.

The May 8th show is the last one of the season.

Definitely worth the trip.
