I have read about loading them then using an drill and an die set but I am using an lee 457-405gr with an mmp sabot out of my Muzzleloader. I need a way to do hold the boolit and keep it lined up. need to keep the cost low. can't drop any more then a lee mold.

thanks for any input?

Have you a drill press??

You need a drill press. Owned or other peoples tools.
Make a set of soft jaws for a vise you can mount on the press table.
Soft jaws could be wood aluminum or whatever.
place a shimm in between the jaws.
Drill a 15/32 (.469") hole centered.
Glue two sheets of 20 lb. paper (.003" each) in the jaw that does not move. One sheet in the movable side.

That's the general idea any how.

I don't know what tools you have. In my case, I would use my Forster hollow pointer. I would seat the boolit in an unsized, but "oval-ed" .45/70 case (finger pressure might be able to make it oval). This would make it easier to get the hollow point concentric with the body of the boolit. The Forster hollow pointer does work. I once shot an amazingly small group out of a .357, with boolits that I had modified in that fashion.
Alternately, Buffalo Bullets used to make swaged lead BTHP bullets, complete with sabots. I don't think they're in business anymore, but if you want to try some, I could mail you a couple of boxes. They're 36 to a box. I bought a bunch of them dirt cheap when Gander Mountain (Ganders? In the mountains??) was closing them out, 325 gr. My current enthusiasm is full dia bullets, just trying to decide which one. Either the Great Plains-style, or the REAL.
But let me know if you want some.

My dad has a drill press.

have not be able to find the forster hollow pointer, don't know why, it might just be me.
I have a box of Buffalo Bullets. I heard they where going to back in production. I heard that a few months ago.

I been working with some reals, great plains, and tc maxi hunters myself. just out of one of my muzzleloaders.
