Just curious anybody here casting for the 450 Bushmaster . I have one and it shoots factory ammo great . Just wondering what could be done for it casting . It takes hogs on our family land and drops them on the spot .

My son has one and I hope to try it with cast soon. He hasn't accumulated enough brass yet. I can't find any.

Any bullet for the 45 Colt should chamber and fire, but a bullet design other than semi-wadcutter will probably feed more reliably. Personally, I would ask Tom at Accurate Molds (http://www.accuratemolds.com/) to make a mold of the LFN variety with a gas check heel and without a crimp groove, at about 250 grains.

I had Tom at accurate molds cut this bullet 45-300H for my 45 Win Mag and it should work great in the 450 bushmaster, If you want to try some I an finishing Hi-tec coating them and would be happt to send you a few.

Also if your gun is a picky feeder, look at the LBT LFN. They feed in most everything and are accurate.

I will get them boxed up, do you have the ability to size them? If not I will size them to .452.

I dont have the ability at this time to size them a lubsizer is on the list of things to get .
